Dehumidifiers Retain up to 480 Liters of Water per Day

Water condensed by air dehumidifiers can be a great solution to mitigate rationing problems in houses, companies, and industries, as up to 480 liters can be generated per day, depending on the model and weather conditions.

With the recent worsening of the water crisis, DESIDRAT dehumidifiers are also being used to produce water, as they obtain water from the condensation process. Beyond humidity control, maintenance of production processes, and help to maintain air quality, Desidrat air dehumidifiers are proving to be great allies to combat water rationing.

Thermomatic is a Brazilian company that has been present in the market for more than 30 years and produces most dehumidifiers sold nationwide; in each sale, it increases awareness on the issue and instructs its clients, so that they can reuse the water generated by the equipment in several ways.

Its basic principle is control of air humidity, but a house model can deliver 30 liters of water after 24 hours only. This water can be used in baths, watering of plants, flushing bathrooms, and washing clothes, sidewalks, backyards, cars, etc. In a factory, on its turn, where there is more expenditures and waste, in addition to clean rooms, kitchens, yards, and production lines, it can also be used for cooling equipment.

“Amid this severe water crisis that worries all of us, we can, through air dehumidifiers, which control and stabilize relative humidity, maintain a healthy environment and, at the same time, reuse all water generated as a much more economic and mindful option”, says chief commercial officer Sven von Borries.
